Happy New Year!
Since people have asked, yes, we're alive and well and enjoying life. This blog is on hiatus; I feel an itch to start writing again, but I'd really prefer to do that on some other site, and perhaps in some other form. Just to have a fresh start if nothing else. Also, I can't help but feel the Blogger platform is living on borrowed time.
Meanwhile, I am very active on Mastodon. I'm a moderator for the Fosstodon instance, and I write short posts on stuff there fairly often. It's fun! Mastodon is pleasantly geeky, with people more often writing about their hobbies and interests than being upset about politics. And you can follow Bluesky people as well if you want.
